Gino Palazzolo is one of the stars of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days and has captivated fans for more than one reason. One of these was that during the entire season, Gino wouldn’t take off his hat and fans began to wonder why. 

Speculation has led fans to believe that the TLC star may be insecure about showing the audience as well as his fiance, his bald head. 

However, just when fans thought the day would never come, we finally got to see his lovely head on the January 30th episode when he made the big reveal.

Fans were pleasantly surprised and said he had nothing to be insecure about and his fiance thought the same. Let’s check it out.

The big reveal!

The moment we had all been waiting for happened while Gino and his Panamanian fiance, Jasmine Pineda, were on a romantic getaway to the island of San Jose. 

While the couple was at the airport, security caught gino off guard and asked him if he could remove his hat for security reasons.

Jasmine seemed pretty happy with this and translated securities instructions to Gino while giggling to herself.

Gino obliged after security had to reiterate that he couldn’t go through unless he took his hat off. To which Gino finally whipped his hat off for the first time and revealed his closely shaven head with its small bald spot.

As soon as Gino removed his hat, Jasmine laughed and clapped – she was probably happy that the world finally got to see his wonderful head!

During the confessional Jasmine swooned over her fiance’s hair cut and it’s clear to see she has no problems with it at all. Jasmine said,

The very brief times I have seen him without the hat, I’m telling him like, ‘You are [the] Michigan version of Bruce Willis.’ Like, look at him! He’s a Hollywood star.

Why does Gino wear a hat?

Fans have been wondering why Gino feels the need to cover his head with a hat all the time and the producers have asked previously during the confessionals, to which Gino has responded, “No, I’m not gonna show you,”

He continued to explain why this was and explained to the producers,

I started wearing a hat I don’t know how many years ago because I have lost my hair over time. When I don’t have a hat on, I feel, like I’m naked or something. 

Gino is confident in himself and knows that Jasmine loves him for who he is. When he was talking to his sister in law she asked if Jasmine liked how he looked to which he responded,

I think we have such a good bond and connection that the looks are like, not such a big deal.
