Last night at Rolling Loud California, a water bottle was thrown at Kodak Black while he was on stage. He didn’t let that stop him from putting on his belt during the show, though.

Kodak Black played a lively set at the 2023 Rolling Loud California music festival on Friday, March 3. However, there were two strange things that happened during the set. During his 20-minute set, the South Florida rapper wore an all-black leather suit with spikes on the shoulders. Kodak asked a stagehand to go get his belt near the end of his set.

While Yak was getting ready to end his set, the rapper’s DJ started to play “Super Gremlin.” While Kodak was waiting for his belt, he told the crowd, “I’m going to spank myself a bih.” Then, when Kodak had his back to the crowd, someone threw a water bottle at him. It hit his leather suit.

The 25-year-old rapper didn’t care and started his verse on “Super Gremlin” When someone finally gave him his belt, Kodak stopped the music and asked the crowd, “Who hit me with that water?” while waving the heavily spiked belt to joke that he would give someone an old-fashioned belt whipping.

After that, Kodak started putting on his spiked belt as “Super Gremlin” played in the background. Because the belt has spikes on it, it took him a minute. After a few minutes, Kodak took off his shirt and finished the song without it. You can see the moment in the video below at the 16:50 mark.

In the end, Kodak Black’s Rolling Loud set went off without too many problems. But it might be one of the strangest things to happen at a concert in 2023.
