JT Gasso is an American softball assistant coach for the Oklahoma Sooners.

JT Gasso is the son of  Patty Gasso, Oklahoma softball coach, and Jim, a business owner and coach.

Gasso holds an associate’s degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College, a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from East Central University and a master’s degree in administrative leadership from the University of Oklahoma.

A collegiate baseball player at Eastern Oklahoma State and East Central University, Gasso has been a lead instructor for the Sooner Softball camps for the last 10 years.

JT Gasso spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons as a graduate assistant at Oklahoma.

He joined Oklahoma after spending one season as an assistant at Michigan State.

Prior to Michigan State, JT Gasso was a part of a first-year coaching staff that helped guide Purdue to a spot in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals in 2014.

As an assistant coach for the Oklahoma Sooners, his primary responsibilities are focused on working with Oklahoma University’s outfielders and the Sooner offense.

In his first two seasons, the Sooners won both the 2016 and 2017 national championships.

He and the Oklahoma University staff were named the NFCA National Coaching Staff of the Year for their efforts in 2016 and 2017.

Andrea Harrison is widely known as the wife of JT Gasso.

Andrea is a former softball player at the University of California, Los Angeles.

She was a national champion and two-time All-American at UCLA.

Andrea Harrison coached softball for two years at Norman High School in Oklahoma.

She also joined Michigan State and the Oklahoma University staff as a volunteer assistant coach.

Andrea Harrison and JT Gasso met at a UCLA softball camp in 2010.

Gasso worked at the camp while Harrison played, and the duo began dating shortly after.

The pair got engaged on December 6, 2014, in Las Vegas.

Andrea Harrison and  JT Gasso married on December 12, 2015, in Long Beach.

The couple share two children; Joseph and Grace Gasso.
