Ryan Michael Kalil (born March 29, 1985) is a centre for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League who plays for the Carolina Panthers (NFL). He was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2007 National Football League Draft. He played collegiate football at the University of Southern California, where he was a part of two national championship teams, was selected to the first team of the American Football Coaches Association, and was awarded the Morris Trophy in 2006. Kalil was selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls (2009, 2010, and 2011), as well as the 2013 edition. He is presently the highest-paid centre in the history of the National Football League.
