Discovery show Gold Rush is onto its 12th season and there are many long-standing mining crews still making a living searching for gold. Parker Schnabel, Tony Beets, Rick Ness and Fred Lewis all run mining operations on the show.
Gold Rush fans get to see a lot of the miners’ lives play out on screen, but when it comes to their personal lives, less is known. So, let’s take a look at what happened to Rick Ness’ girlfriend and what she’s doing in 2022.
Who is Rick Ness’ girlfriend?
The love lives of the miners on Gold Rush isn’t something that is covered on the Discovery show, but besides searching for gold, they do have families, wives and girlfriends.
Rick Ness is in a relationship with a woman called Leese Marie. As per Otakukart: “Rick and Ness announced their relationship through social media on November 16th, 2020.“
The couple appeared on Gold Rush together in 2021 and judging by Leese M Arie’s Facebook page, the two are still together in 2022.

What happened to Rick Ness’ girlfriend?
Judging by Leese M Arie’s social media pages – she’s on Instagram @leese_m_arie – she’s from Wisconsin originally but now resides in Havasu, Arizona.
Gold mining life might not have been for Leese Marie as she’s now living in Arizona as opposed to the Klondike region of Yukon, Canada.
In her IG bio, Leese also writes “Everything happens for a reason” and “Havasu is now where I call home“.

It looks like Leese Marie is settling into life in Arizona judging by her Facebook page. Given her photo captions, such as “Daily natural Arizona sunlight does amazing things to the soul of a native Wisconsin girl..“, it looks like Arizona is treating her well.
She has a son and Rick has been out to visit her in Havasu as per this Facebook post from February 2nd.
Leese has joined TikTok in 2022 and can be found via the handle @lil_hurricane_.
