Joe Mauer is a retired American professional baseball catcher and first baseman in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He played a total of 15 seasons in the league with the Minnesota Twins. Over the course of his career, he was named six time All-Star and holds the record as the only catcher in MLB history to win three batting titles, and the only catcher to ever win a batting title in the American League (AL).
