A Greenville man was arrested in connection with a shooting Tuesday at a food mart on West Fifth Street.

Greenville police charged Kayshaun Williams, 20, of 205 Woodlawn Ave., with attempted murder.

Williams is accused of shooting 22-year-old Darius Phillips about 10:30 p.m. at the Stop & Go Food Mart at 800 W. Fifth St., according to a news release. Phillips was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment.
