Although, it is not all in a typical way. “I spent a lot of my time at NYU partying,” says Tornabene. He added: “From there, it was nightly beer pong during my sophomore year at Palladium … and hitting up the classy places our senior year, pretending we were living the life of important New Yorkers.”

Though, this lifestyle set the stage for the success that would come from Dom Mazzetti. Tornabene states, “My experiences at NYU definitely have helped us come up with ideas for our sketches.”

Tornabene also talks about his relationship with Hunjan and how they have grown to be the duo that they are. “I actually met Gian in second grade,” says Tornabene.

Tornabene and Hunjan continued to build their comedy and acting careers even while attending separate colleges. “Throughout college, we wrote a television pilot script, two television specials scripts, and a feature-length comedy screenplay,” he said.

In September 2009, they started Mike & Gian Comedy.

Tornabene and Hunjan had to work at a distance in college to develop their content.

Video calling was majorly beneficial as they developed their content. 

”We started making money off of ad revenue and parlayed that into a clothing brand,” Mike told Inked Mag.
