Easyjet flight from Gatwick to Menorca forced to divert to Paris following medical emergency on boar

AN EASYJET flight bound for the holiday island of Menorca was forced to land at Paris this morning following a medical emergency on board.
Flight EZY8301 took off from London Gatwick airport at 6.35am this morning but then had to quickly divert while flying over France.
The plane then headed to Paris CDG airport because of the "on-board medical emergency". It was due to land in Menorca at 9.55am.
An spokeswoman for the airline said: "easyJet can confirm that flight EZY8301 from London Gatwick to Mahon diverted to Paris Charles De Gaulle, due to a passenger on board requiring urgent medical assistance.
“Paramedics met the aircraft on arrival in Paris where a passenger was taken to hospital and the flight continued to Mahon. The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority.”
The crew administered first aid to the passenger who required medical assistance while on board, the airline revealed.

The Airbus A320 came into difficulties shortly after take-off from Copenhagen and had to return to the airport just 18 minutes later.
