Anthony Eugene Skinner was born November 13, 1962 and departed this life on September 25, 2021. He was a graduate of Great Bridge High School and ECPI University. Anthony was employed by NuMotion where he ranked as one of the top service technicians for the Chesapeake branch. Anthony loved Christ and loved serving the Lord. Though he had many interests, his heart was dedicated to the care and keeping of his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Alison Christian Skinner, MD, his son Anthony Eugene Skinner, Jr. (Tiana), stepdaughters Jordan and Kendall Taylor, his mother Shirley Shivers (Mills), father, Robert Lee Skinner, Sr., brother, Robert Lee Skinner, Jr. (Lisa), sister, Denise McQuillia, brother, Isaac Skinner, mother in law, Dorothy V. Christian, two additional sisters in-law, a brother in law, and a host of nephews, nieces and friends. Anthony is predeceased by his beloved sister, Deborah Ann Nichols.

Anthony’s Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:00 am at Trinity Faith Diamond Church, 1023 Deep Creek Blvd. Chesapeake, Virginia with Bishop Olleo L. Cromwell, II officiating. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Professional and comfort services have been entrusted to Metropolitan Funeral Service.
